Ken Titcomb along with Rick Dale co-founded the Lakeville Tee it up for the Troops charity golf event in 2012 at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club. Through the first 9 years, the event has provided over $500,000 in grants to support the most worthy veteran support groups.

Ken Titcomb, Commander, USNR (Retired) was born in La Crosse WI. He holds a BS and MBA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is a 1985 graduate of Officer Candidate School, Newport R.I., and of the Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, GA. During his Navy Reserve career, he served in a variety of shipboard and shore-based active and reserve billets, including 3 years on the USS Biddle CG-34 out of Norfolk, VA and a year deployed to Baghdad, Iraq in 2008-2009 serving with Multi-National Forces-Iraq. His military awards include Bronze Star, Meritorious Service, Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement (2), Iraq Campaign Medal, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

Upon leaving his active-duty career in 1992 he went to work for Nabisco for 5 years before joining General Mills where he worked in various finance roles for over 20 years retiring in 2018. Following retirement, Ken opened a Christian Brothers Automotive franchise in Lakeville. Ken also serves his community as an active member of VFW Post 210 in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Ken has been married to his wife Karen for over 40 years and they have one daughter, Jennifer. Karen and Ken have been residents of Lakeville, MN for over 25 years.
